With local guides leading the way, each trip is built around your group, whether you prefer fishing from the boat, wade fishing, or fly fishing. Redfish, Speckled Trout, Black Drum, and Flounder are the most commonly caught species, with many more waiting to surprise you. At the end of your trip, your harvest will be cleaned, prepared, and packed in a take-home cooler so the experience continues on even after you leave the water.
Premier Duck Hunting
Duck blinds, local guides, airboat rides to and from the blind, and the sight of retrieving dogs working the water are all part of what makes the hunt unforgettable. Shoalwater Bay Lodge offers access to diverse wildlife and natural habitat along the Texas coast. Redhead, Greater and Lesser Scaup, Bufflehead, Northern Pintail, Wigeon,Gadwall, Northern Shoveler, Green-winged Teal, and Blue-winged Teal are among the species you’ll target. Each hunt includes shotgun shells, a cooler with non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, a professional guide, retrieving dog, decoys, airboat transportation, and duck cleaning at the end of the hunt.
Hip waders, jackets, rain gear, blind boxes, and shotgun sleeve cases are included for each hunter. Shotgun rental is available upon request.
For those bringing their own trained retrievers, on-site kennels are available, making it easy to include every part of the experience.

With clays, shotgun, ammunition, eye protection, earplugs, and safety instruction provided, it’s an easy way to spend more time outside with your group.
